Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Wyatt Alan Gaitan on January 20, 202,5 at the age of 8 years old.

Wyatt was born on October 31, 2016, to Marcus Gaitan and Heather De La Rosa.  He was a little boy with the biggest personality you have ever seen.  He was rarely ever caught without a smile from ear to ear.  He loved to sing and dance and would perform for everyone regularly.  He was a little prankster who loved to play tricks on people to see if they would fall for it.  He loved being around his older siblings.  You would see them riding bikes, playing video games, watching anime, or sharing the couch to take a nap together.

Wyatt was the baby of the bunch and a momma's boy through and through but equally enjoyed the time with his dad riding in his truck, riding the 4-wheeler or his latest adventure his first time on a motorcycle!  He was always up for an adventure with his mom, dad, siblings, his uncle or his favorite cousin Elijah.

Wyatt was an active kid who LOVED sports.  He played soccer, basketball, baseball and flag football.  He was a 2nd grade student at Hallettsville Elementary and oh was he proud to be a little Brahma.  He told so many stories of his teachers and friends from HES daily.  He held many random facts and so many questions in his little mind that he was rarely ever quiet.  He always wanted to know the why of how things worked.

Wyatt couldn't have been a more perfect little boy he made it hard not to be happy around.  He turned the worst of any day into a smile because he wouldn't let you be sad around him.  He was kind, funny, thoughtful of others, and he was a gift that we were all blessed to have known.

Wyatt leaves behind many loved ones that share so many memories from just his short time here with us.  He was a brave little guy who touched many lives.  May his spirit always remain with those who loved him.

Wyatt is survived by:  parents, Marcus Gaitan and Heather De La Rosa; 2 brothers, Landen Bone and Daniel Pierce; 5 sisters, Layla Gaitan, Ava Prasek, Avyana Pierce, Camilla Gaitan, and Ilyanna Lozoya.

Wyatt was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sandra Lynn De La Rosa.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, and support during this extremely difficult time.
