Willie Lee Moseley of Hope, age 99 passed away on October 2, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1918 in Ezzell to the late Will Long and Rosie Hairell Long. She married J.B. Moseley on October 23, 1939 in Ezzell. They were blessed with 3 children; son, Bobby Moseley, daughters, Mary Lou Ezzell and Bonnie Green.

Willie was a member of the Ezzell/Hope community and a friend to all who met her. She was a member of the Hope Friendship Quilting Club, Ezzell Church of Christ, Ladies Bible Class and a Sunday school teacher.

Willie was known for her beautiful flowers, her canning skills and her love of sewing. She always enjoyed spending time with family and watching her family grow with the addition of each grandchild and great grandchild. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. At birth each new baby received a baby blanket made by their Mam Maw.

Willie Lee is survived by: her three children, Bobby Moseley and wife Ann of Shiner, Mary Lou Ezzell and husband Tom of Bryan, and Bonnie Green and husband Donald of Hope; 8 grandchildren, Gary Moseley, Shari Weber, Michele Hermes, Chad Ezzell, Jennifer Banda, Tonya Green, Darren Green, and Ryan Green; and 20 great-grandchildren, Haley, Blake, and Cory Moseley, Jordan and Hannah Weber, Taylor, Emily, Luke, and Sam Hermes, Raylee, Camryn, and Cooper Ezzell, Collin, Ashton, Ben, and Drew Banda, Sydney and Garrett Green, Skye and Kia Green.

Willie Lee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters; Nettie Frazier, Sybil McElroy, Lillian Long, 1 brother, James Long, and son-in-law, Clifford Shows.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at Kubena Funeral Home of Hallettsville. Visitation: 6 - 8 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Gary Moseley, Keith Weber, Randy Hermes, Chad Ezzell, Jason Banda, Darren Green, Ryan Green, and Efford Hamman. Officiant: Darrell Klimitchek and Fieldon Stevens. Memorials: Charity of your choice. Burial: Salem Cemetery, Ezzell, Texas.
