Wallace enjoyed watching his western TV shows and his various sports teams, the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, and Dallas Cowboys. He also had a love for cars, buying and trading them. Another favorite pastime was tracking the hurricanes each year. Wallace was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather who loved seeing all the kids and sharing stories with them.
Wallace is survived by: 2 sons, Larry Lott Selph & wife Joann of Sublime, and Terry Selph & wife Karen of Hallettsville; daughter Brenda Joyce Selph; sister Eula Raye Cutler of Hallettsville; 8 grandchildren, Timothy Sepulvado of Minnesota, Wendy Darnell & husband Chad of Minnesota, Bryan Daniels, Felicia Ramirez & husband Bob of Houston, Stacy Selph of Houston, Angelica Selph of Sublime, Mindy DeLaRosa & husband PJ of Sweet Home, Jenny Selph of Hallettsville; and 9 great grandchildren, Alyssa & Samantha Sepulvado, Chandler & Tucker Wallace Darnell; Bob Jr., Tyler & Zachary Ramirez, Amaya Selph, and Quinn DeLaRosa.
Wallace was preceded in death by: daughter Barbara Jean Daniels and his parents.
The family would like to thank Wallace's health care providers, his favorite cnas and nurses at Stevens Nursing Home, and for the support and love from all family & friends.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Monday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton. Pallbearers: Butch Paschall, Billy Noska, Brandon Noska, Bob Ramirez, Paul DeLaRosa Jr., and Olan Pustejovsky. Memorials: First Baptist Church of Hallettsville or the Baptist Church of Vienna. Burial: Willow Creek Cemetery, Vienna, TX.
