Virginia Mary Pustka, 78, of Wied, passed away Oct. 8, 2018. She was born on Oct. 27, 1939 to Julius J. & Helen Woitaske Grahmann in Hallettsville. She married John P. Pustka on April 29, 1961 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. She was a member of KJT & KJZT of Wied, Catholic Daughters of Americas of Hallettsville, Christian Mothers of Hallettsville, Altar Society of Shiner, Catholic Life Insurance, and Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church of Shiner.

Virginia is survived by: son Robert "Skeeter" Pustka & wife Debbie of Wied; 3 daughters, Jane Labay & husband Duane of Hallettsville, Rebecca Till & husband Michael of Wied, and Karen "Shorty" Pustka of Wied; brother Andrew J. Grahmann of Stafford; 4 sisters, Frances Hanslik of Hallettsville, Irene Barton of Koerth, Gertrude Janak of Hallettsville, and Mary Bruening of Shelby; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Conway (Dylan), Hillary Zarosky (Marcus), Amber Labay, and Derrick Labay ; and 4 great grandchildren, Cayden & Kyndal Conway, and McKenna & Kennedy Zarosky .

Virginia was preceded in death by: Husband John; parents; brother David J. Grahmann; and 2 sisters, Thelma Spies and Viola Grahmann.

Funeral Mass Service : 1 pm, Friday Oct. 12, 2018, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church of Shiner. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home; with Rosary starting at 7 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville . Pallbearers: Godsons Russell Janak& Daryl Peters, James Pustka, Michael Hanslik, Charles Spies and J.R. Peters. Officiant: Rev. Bryan Heyer .
