Obituary

Viola M. Jares, 94, of Hallettsville, on September 14, 2013, Viola's loving family had the honor to witness as Our Heavenly Father opened his loving arms and welcomed her into his heavenly Kingdom. Viola's and her family's prayers to end her suffering had been answered. Her last hours with us were spent surrounded by her family telling her what an amazing mother, grandmother, wife and woman of God she was and everything she embodied.

Viola was a tiny woman with a boundless amount of energy, enthusiasm and zest for life. She loved gardening, sewing, bingo, shopping, fishing and cooking. Viola and her husband, Daniel Jares, were both amazing parents and grandparents who provided an amazing life for their children and grandchildren with their local skating rink, horses, trail rides and trips around local Texas adventures. She spoiled us all rotten with her love, traditions and beautiful style who made us so proud to be around her. We never saw her with the same outfit or jewelry. She wasn't trying to be fancy or spend money but she took pride in herself and we all only wish we could be so confident and beautiful inside and out.

Viola was born on July 29, 1919, to Frank & Albina Woytek Blaha. She married Daniel F. Jares on July 6 1936 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Viola is survived by: 2 sons, Sylvester Jares and Lonny Jares of Hallettsville; 2 daughters, Annette Fajkus & husband Jerry of Columbus, and Judy Werner of Hallettsville; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Viola was preceded in death by: her husband Daniel of 67 years; son Danny Joe Jares; her parents; 3 brothers, one at infancy, Freddie Blaha, and Edwin Blaha; and 3 sisters, one at infancy, Matilda "Tillie" Stropek, and Albina Marek.
