Victoria E. Orsak, 100, of Hallettsville, passed away December 12, 2017 at Stevens Nursing & Rehab of Hallettsville. She was born June 15, 1917 in Tivoli Texas to Richard J. Schultz and Helen Pagel Schultz. She married Otto E. Orsak (Shorty) on December 23, 1934 in Hallettsville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Victoria was very active in the Home Extension Education Association, member of Catholic Daughters and Quilting Circle. She was owner & operator of Vickie's Beauty Shop for many years. After selling her shop she continued to be active working at a local Motel, Milkulenka Dept. Store, Hallettsville Library and Avon Products Representative.

Victoria is survived by: 3 sons, R. L. Orsak (Elsie) of Hallettsville, Kenneth Orsak (JoAnn) of Goliad, and Otto Orsak (Linda) of Dripping Springs; daughter Melba Hynes (Jim) of Hallettsville; 7 grandchildren, Renee Dombroski (Cory), Melissa Jasek (Darren), Charllotte Phillips (Vance), Richard Orsak, Sheila Etzler (Aaron), Julie Orsak, and Jason Haecker ; and 7 great grandchildren, Kendall, Emma, Olivia Etzler, Mckenna & Taylor Jasek; and Shea, & Trevor Philips.

Victoria was preceded in death by: husband Shorty; parents; 3 brothers, Irving, Ernest and (Dick) Richard Schultz; and sister Dr. Helen Pratt.

Funeral Mass Service: 2 pm, Friday, December 15, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary starting at 7 pm. Pallbearers: Richard Orsak, Jason Haecker, Darren Jasek, Aaron Etzler, Bobby Hentshel, and Paul Voekel. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic School or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
