Victor Royce Dyer of Ezzell, Texas, age 69, passed away on December 22, 2024, after a lengthy illness.  Born on October 27, 1955 in Dallas, Vic dedicated his professional life to the field of psychology, significantly impacting many lives throughout his career.  He worked in the Dallas area for Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation in neuropsychology before serving as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology with various educational institutions including Forney ISD, Royse City ISD, and Texas CAN Academy.

Vic was an alumnus of Lamesa High School; the University of Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology; and Stephen F. Austin University, where he obtained his Master of Psychology.  His passion for helping others was evident both in his career and in his personal life.  A man of varied interests, he enjoyed playing the guitar, collecting knives, and was an enthusiast of firearms.  As an Eagle Scout he remained active with the Boy Scouts of America.  He also had a deep affection for his German Shepherds, often spending his free time engaged in activities with his beloved dogs.

Vic was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carole and Royce Dyer.  He is survived by:  his children, E Dyer and spouse Gala Sadurni and Sean Dyer; grandchildren, Griffin Dyer and Rio Sadurni; brothers, Bret Dyer and his wife Jacque and Steve Dyer and his wife Audra; and sister Kecia Dyer and her husband Owen as well as nieces and nephews.

Vic's passion for his profession, and his hobbies will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
