Thomas William Ruhe, passed away on January 29, 2022, in Corpus Christi Texas at the age of 65.  He was born on February 7, 1956 in Houston Texas.

A lifelong Texan, Tom was a graduate of Westchester High school in Houston and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.  He had a long career in law enforcement and security working for Harris County Constable, his own security company, and as security manager for Allied Universal.  He also owned and ran a trucking company for a while and loved being out on the open road.  Tom was looking forward to retirement in Shiner, Texas and his life was cut too short.

Tom was predeceased by; his father Robert William Ruhe, Jr., his mother Elouise Griffin Ruhe, and brother Dave Lynn Roberts.

Tom is survived by:  the sunshine of his life, his wife Marilou Mata Ruhe; son Austin Jake Ruhe; sisters, Sandra Buczynski (Tony) and Mary Bertus (Lester); step daughters, Shella Marie, Mechele and Ailyn; grandchildren, Chelsea Savannah, Isiah and Cassie Snow; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and great nieces & nephews.

Graveside Service: at St. Mary's cemetery in Hallettsville, Texas, on Monday, February 7, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers , the family requests a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Tom's honor.
