Suzanne Marie Kurtz, 48, of Shiner, TX, passed away from this world into the joys of heaven on Saturday, Apr. 13, 2013. She was born on Feb. 13, 1965 to Laddie & Rita Kurtz in Dallas, TX. She attended Easter Seal School, Pershing Junior High, and graduated from Sharptown High School in Houston. She was a member of S.P.J.S.T., KJT, Saints Cyril & Methodius Altar Society; and Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner.

Suzanne taught herself how to use the computer, using a basic program. She made many friends throughout the world. She built websites and managed them, including the Shiner Hobo Band website. Before she lost the use of her hands, she did a lot of embroidering including Christmas Ornaments. She loved making crafts.

Suzanne is survived by: her parents; 3 brothers, Michael & wife Patricia, Darrell & wife Sherri, and Kenneth & wife Deborah; niece Madalyn Kurtz; and nephew Maximilian Kurtz.

Suzanne was preceded in death by: her brother Russell Kurtz; grandparents, August & Agnes Dornak, and Rudy & Veronica Kurtz.

Funeral Mass Service: 2 pm, Wednesday, Apr. 17, 2013 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Kirby Hlavaty. Pallbearers: her brothers, Michael Kurtz, Darrell Kurtz, and Kenneth Kurtz; and cousins, Gregory Dornak, Stanley Shimek, and Joey Kurtz. Honorary Pallbearers : the members of the Shiner Hobo Band.
