Shawn D. Grahmann, 33, of Hallettsville, passed away Oct. 23, 2014. He was born on July 10, 1981 in Houston to Joan Grahmann. He graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1999.

As a young boy, Shawn spent a lot of time at his Grandpa and Grandma Grahmann's home. When we think of Shawn, we think of his big, beautiful, bright blue eyes and blonde hair. We also think of his loving demeanor. He was so sweet spirited and caring with a wonderful sense of humor. For the last two years, Shawn has enjoyed his occupation as a welder.

Shawn's favorite things to do were spend time with his dog Tyson, play his guitar, read, listen to music, play video games and have deep conversation about spiritual matters.

Shawn loved the Lord and is now home safely with Him with no more yearning for the answers to life.

We love you Shawn and we will always remember your sweet spirit.

Shawn is survived by: his mother Joan Grahmann; brother Scott Holly; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Alois H. Grahmann and 4 cousins.

Funeral Service: 1:30 pm Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville; with Visitation starting at 12 noon. Officiant: Pastor Dennis Hill. Pallbearers: Jacob Neskora, Josh Wagner, Ross Grahmann, Rick Harding, Raymond Chapman, and Michael Pinson. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
