Obituary

Sam Paul Fitch, 74 of Ezzell, Texas, died on June 2, 2006. He was born on March 27, 1932 to Sam & Lillie Mason Fitch in Lavaca County, Texas.

Sam was a veteran of the Korean War; he received the Korean Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and United Nations Service Medal.

He is survived by: companion Doris Beinhauer; daughters Hazel Jo Ann and Patricia Sue; 2-brothers Carl Fitch of Hallettsville, Texas and James Fitch of Koerth, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: wife Rosa Lee Neel Fitch (died July 17,1993); parents Sam & Lillie Mason Fitch; 2-sisters, Betty Watson and Ethel Monk; brother Travis Fitch.

Service: 10am, Monday, June 5, 2006 at Kubena Funeral Home. Burial: Salem Cemetery. Officiate: Rev. Leon Smothers. Visitation: Noon, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home with family receiving visitors from 6pm to 8pm that Sunday. Pallbearers: Robert Wurm, Charles Wurm, George Little, A.J. Kallus, Donald Schindler, and Ricky Raz.
