Mr. S. Raymond Brisco, of Houston, 80, died Jan. 4, 2007. He was born on Feb. 9, 1926 to Sirca J. & Sarah Varley Brisco in Sheridan, TX. He was married to Joyce Rees Brisco on June 26, 1949 for 57 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Houston, and a veteran of WWII.

Raymond is survived by wife Joyce of Houston; daughter Bonnie Cupit of Tombal; 3-sons, Ron Brisco of Houston, Pat Brisco of League City, and Darwin Brisco of Tombal; 2-sisters, Betty Layton of Sheridan, and Lillian Allen of Hallettsville.

Raymond was preceded in death by parents; brothers Emmett, Jessie, and Erwin Brisco; and sister Dorothy Wilson.

Funeral Service at 2pm, Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation starts at 3pm, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Burial at Geiger Cemetery. Officiate is Rev. Herb Beyer. Pallbearers are Kris Cupit, Travis Cupit, Robert Bryan Layton, Erwin Dwayne Brisco, Sam Allen, and Bob Allen.
