Mrs. Rosie Kutach Spacek, 89, of Hallettsville, died Feb. 15, 2007. She was born on Sept. 20, 1917 to Joseph A. & Veronika Janak Kutach in Sweet Home, Texas. She married Julius Nick Spacek on Oct. 17, 1938 in Hallettsville. She was a member of KJZT of Worthing, Catholic Daughters of Americas, the Holy Rosary of St. Mary's, and St. Mary's Church west of Hallettsville.

Rosie is survived by; brother Joseph Kutach of Hallettsville, and 36 Nieces & Nephews.

Rosie was preceded in death by: Husband Julius on July 15, 1984; parents; 4-brothers, Steve, Paul, Charlie, and Otto Kutach; and 4-sisters, Pauline Smolik, Veronica Melnar, Agnes Zahn, and Eveline Bradbury Simpson.

Service: 1pm, Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at St. Mary's Church. Officiate: Rev. Charles Sonnier. Visitation: Noon, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7pm, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home, and 12:30pm, Sunday at St. Mary's Church. Pallbearers: Frank Zahn, William Zahn, William Bradbury, Charles Kutach Jr., Steve Kutach Jr., Charles Belcik, Trent Barker, and Marcus Melnar. Honorary Pallbearers: all Nieces and Nephews. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials: Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Sweet Home, and St. Mary's Church.
