Rosie Lee Christen Drexler, of Moulton, was born October 22, 1925. She passed away peacefully on March 1, 2016 at the age of 90.

Rosie was a homemaker who loved her gardens, the beach, dancing, bird watching, and raising baby orphaned calves. She was a member of Moulton Hermann Sons, American Legion Auxiliary, and Trail Ride.

Rosie's loving family will truly miss her, including her three daughters, Shirley Moczygemba of Yorktown, Mildred Cowan (Robert) of Gonzales, and Rose Mary Chandler (Wendell) of Luling; grandchildren, John Drexler, Leon James Drexler, Jerry Drexler, Jackie Kyle, Bridget Hairell, Susan Hoelscher, Brian Baker, and Diane Pekar; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and brother Charlie Christen Sr. of Shiner.

By Rosie's passing, she will join her husband of 67 years, Louis J. Drexler; 2 sons, Leon & Louis Jr.; her parents, Joseph & Augusta Heinsohn Christen; 2 brothers; 5 sisters; and 2 grandsons.

Funeral Service: 2:30 pm, Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home; with Rosary at 7 pm. Pallbearers: The Grandchildren. Officiant: Rev. Barnabas Kyeah. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
