Rose Marie Hoch, 82, of Hallettsville, passed away September 14, 2021. She was born on August 24, 1939 to James ¨Jim" and Emilie Bitala in Hallettsville, Texas. She married Claude Anthony Hoch on May 4, 1957, he passed away on April 7, 2000. She was a housewife and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville.
Rose loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to watch western movies, play bingo, play dominoes, and go to special events. The holidays were the joy of her life that brought a unique smile to her face because she would be able to spend time with all her family and friends. During that time, she would always find her spot on the domino table to beat her sons, daughters, grandchildren and whomever else that wanted to sit down and play. Her favorite saying while playing dominoes was "I will always lay down double six first if I have it in my hand. I'm not going to get left with it."
Rose was a happy person always telling you what was on her mind. Whenever you were around her she made you laugh and smile.
