Obituary

Mr. Robert Ignatius Leask, 74, of Hallettsville, Texas, died September 2, 2006. He was born on June 22, 1932 to Thomas Henry & Ora Lindle Leask in Ennis, Texas. He married Doris Hamilton Leask on December 2, 1982 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Robert graduated from St. John High School in Ennis, in 1949. He served in the US Air Force and later in the US Army from 1949 to 1959. He attended Navarro Jr. College and the University of North Texas. He worked as a chemist for over 25 years with the Pepsi Cola Company. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville.

Robert is survived by: wife Doris of 24 years; 2 sisters Clara Wolff of St. Louis, Missouri, and Louise Braxton of Plano, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by: parents Thomas Henry & Ora Lindle Leask; 6 brothers, Thomas, John, Joseph, Arthur, Lawrence, and David Leask; and 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Leask and Virgina Leask Bowman.

Military Committal: 1 pm, Monday, September 11, 2006 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

Memorial Service: 10 am, Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville, with a luncheon at the Family Center afterwards.

Memorials: Hospice of South Texas or Hallettsville Rehabilitation Center.
