Robert "Bob" J. Roberts, 73, of Hallettsville, passed away December 16, 2016. He was born on July 19, 1943 in Houston. He served in the US Army from1960 to 1963. He worked as a brick layer and a pipe-fitter in Pasadena for most of his adult life until moving to Hallettsville in 1998. Bob worked with his sons at KTA, Inc. as Shop Foreman. In recent years he designed and built gates around the Hallettsville area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time on the Land. He is best known for spoiling his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents Kyle and Lois Roberts. He is loved and will be missed.

Bob is survived by: his wife Sabra; 2 sons Jay & wife Tiffany of East Bernard, and Rob Melenyzer & wife Susan of San Antonio; 2 daughters, Stacy Roberts of Austin, and DeLinda Spain of Austin; grandchildren, Shelby & Savannah AuBuchon of East Bernard, Samina, Zarina & Rahim Khalfan of Austin, and Jamie Spain of Houston.

Funeral Graveside Service: 11 am, Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Cheetham Cemetery in Sheridan, TX. Visitation: 10:30 am, Tuesday at Cheetham Cemetery. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): The Fisher House of San Antonio.
