Mr. Richard W. Dixon, 64, of Hallettsville, TX, died Dec. 13, 2007. He was born on Jan. 13, 1943 to the late William & Wilma Wright Dixon in Springfield, OH. He married Delrose Wick Dixon on May 26, 1965 in Houston, TX. He served in the US Army from Jan. 29, 1960 to Jan. 28, 1966. Richard was the owner/operator of Dixon's Automotive in Hallettsville.

Richard is survived by: wife Delrose; son Mark Dixon of Hallettsville; daughter Renee Hinze & husband Lonnie Weimar, TX; sister Beverly Hill of Bowling Green, OH; and 4 grandchildren, Cheyenne and Daylin Dixon, and Jarrod and Lauren Hinze.

Memorial Service: 2 pm, Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Church or Yoakum Community Hospital.
