Rebecca Marjean Schryver, of Hallettsville, was born on December 4, 1956, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on October 1, 2021, at the age of 64.

Rebecca is survived by: her children, Ace Chad Shonka of San Antonio, Brandi Lynn Myers of Hallettsville and Andy Lee & Kayla Schryver of Schertz; grandchildren, Kaydence Myers and Jacaylah Winters of Carlisle, PA; brothers and sisters, Carl and Chris Vogel of Universal City, Max and Tina Vogel of Converse, Willie and Tracey Vogel of Hallettsville, LuAnn and Richard Holden of Converse, Sherrie and Fred Shows of Stigler, OK, Roger and Vicki Vogel of Hallettsville, Wanita Greenwood of San Antonio; sisters-in-law, Kim Rector of Atkins, Teresa Carter of Kirby, Diane Baldi of Elmendorf and Rose Hilburn of Rockport; brother-in-law Ross Bjork of Beaver Bay, MN; as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Rebecca is preceded in death by: her husband Dennis Lee Schryver; granddaughter Hope Lynn Miller; parents Max and Velma Jean Vogel; brothers, Mike Vogel and Tim Baldi; sisters, Vicky and Saundra Vogel; sister-in-law Patty Vogel; nephews, Michael and Wesley Vogel; and niece Wendy Vogel.

Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam National Cemetery on October 21, 2021, at 9:00am. Following the service, A Celebration of Life Event from 10am-12pm, hosted by the Holland Family at 10419 Rinder Farm Ct, New Braunfels, TX 78132. The family requests in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made in Becky's name to a family charity--Clarice's Room of Hope, claricesroom.org.
