Phoebie Marie Honish Bodin, 92, of Hallettsville, her precious time on earth ceased on April 8, 2023, in her home full of her beloved family.  She was born on February 15, 1931, to Alfonse & Phoebie Jacobs Honish, in Port Arthur, TX.  As a child, she attended school in Ezzell, TX, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur.  During Marie's life, she built a career as a beautician, Orange County Sheriff Department Warrant Division and hog farmer.

Marie shared a love and laughter like no other.  She had many interests and talents including, baking, hunting, quilting, dancing and playing dominoes, to have a few.

Marie and her husband Arthur spent many joyous years married, before his departure from this life.  In her final months, she spent all the time, as possible, with her "pretty girl" Alfoncinah.

Marie is survived by:  son Thomas "Tommy" Hamrick Sr. (Jayda); son-in-law Don Harvey; sister Anne Presson (Lonnie); brother Paul Honish; 4 grandchildren, Donny "Porky" Harvey (Amy), Keith Harvey (Morgan), Trisha Marie Hamrick (Mark) and Thomas Hamrick Jr. (Kim); 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Maire was preceded in death by; husband Arthur, parents, daughter Jacqueline Harvey, brother Al Honish, sister Theresa Cutaia and grandson Britton Hamrick.

Marie deeply loved each of her children and grandchildren.  Grandmother's memory will be cherished throughout all our lives.

Visitation: 5 pm, Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville.

Funeral Service: 2:30 pm, Friday, April 14, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home , 800 Highland Ave, Bridge City, TX; with visitation starting at 1:30 pm. Pallbearers: Thomas Hamrick Sr., Thomas Hamrick Jr., Donny Harvey, Keith Harvey, Lane Harvey and Mark Zelner. Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Honish and John Honish. Burial: Hillcrest Memorial Garden, Bridge City, TX.
