Mr. Perry Gaskamp, 81, of Hallettsville, died June 19, 2007. He was born September 20, 1925 in Washington County, near Brenham, Texas, to Louis & Louise Finke Gaskamp. He married Rosalee Brossmann on October 23, 1970 in League City, Texas. He was a practicing Lutheran.

Perry is survived by his wife Rosalee; 1 step-son John McLeod & wife Francie of North Carolina; 2 step-daughters, Kathy Langenberg & husband Cal of Hallettsville, and Deborah McLeod of Houston; brother Louis Gaskamp & wife Loretta of Houston; 2 sisters, Betty Lueckemeyer & husband Roland of Houston and Pearl Hugo of Bellville; sister-in-law Miriam Gaskamp of Brenham; 5 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Garrett, Reuben, and Leroy Gaskamp; and sister Verda Gaskamp.
