Mrs. Pearl E. Mitchell, 87, of Sublime, TX, died Sept. 18, 2007. She was born on Jan. 21, 1920 to Louis & Ella Wied Gips in Yorktown, TX. She married Johnnie C. Mitchell on Jan. 15, 1974 in Corpus Christi, TX.

Pearl is survived by: mother-in-law Zula Mitchell; 2 brother-in-laws, William and Lester Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pearl was preceded in death by; husband Johnnie, parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.

Service: 11 am, Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 10 am, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. George Hyurst. Pallbearers: John Brock, Dick Baldwin, Walter Winslett, Jeremy Judd, Marshall Hodge, and Lester Mitchell. Burial: Geiger Cemetery.
