Mrs. Pauline E. Greer, 87, of Hallettsville, died Feb. 23, 2008. She was born on June 12, 1920 to Joe A. & Carrie Cervenka Janak in Lavaca County, Texas. She was married to Raymond "Rusty" Greer on June 12, 1944 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of KJZT and St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Pauline is survived by son Larry Greer & wife Agnes of Hallettsville, 2 grandsons, Chipper and Cody Greer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pauline was preceded in death by: husband Rusty on Feb. 16, 2006; parents; sister Mary Agnes Janak; and 2 brothers, James A. and Willie S. Janak.

Service: 3 pm, Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation: 1 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 6 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 2:30 pm, Monday at St. Mary's Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Sheriff Michael Harmon; Daryl Bludau; Billy Henry; Michael Appelt; Francis Bujnoch; and Glenn Spann. Honorary Pallbearers: Chipper Greer and Cody Greer. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: St. Mary's Church or Donor's Choice.
