Patsy Leah Alex, 48, of Sheridan, passed away Dec. 30, 2010. She was born on Nov. 3, 1962 to Charles V. & Mildred Fitch Dolezal Sr. in Hallettsville. She married Donald R. Alex on July 24, 1982. She loved to sing her country songs.

Patsy is survived by: her husband Donald; son Karl Alex of Sheridan; parents, Charles V. & Mildred Fitch Dolezal Sr. of Hallettsville; brother Charles Dolezal Jr. of Hallettsville; 2 sisters, Shirley Dolezal of Sheridan, and Sybil Riebschlaeger of Pearland; and grandchild Chloe Alex.

Pasty was preceded in death by her grandchild Chaise Keith Alex.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Sheridan, Texas. Visitation: 5pm, Monday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Herb Beyer. Pallbearers: Daniel Riebschlaeger, Kevan Riebschlaeger, Jonny Garner, Ray Carter, George Gibson, Tommy Stephens, Craig Schmitt and Wayne Dupre. Honorary Pallbearers: All her music "Buddies" and nephews. Burial: Cheetham Cemetery, Sheridan, Texas. Memorials: Charity of Your Choice.
