IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patrick Lynn
Bollom
August 22, 1953 – May 24, 2015
Pat attended Sacred Heart Catholic School through 8 th grade and graduated in 1971 from Hallettsville High School. He attended Victoria College and graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.
Pat was employed by Shell Oil Company and after early retirement, he went to work for the City of Hallettsville.
No one was a stranger to Pat. Everyone knew him and he knew everyone. As he made his drive around the Hallettsville square, he always found someone to yell out to. Pat enjoyed watching the Brahmas, Longhorns, and Dallas Cowboys play. In his younger years he enjoyed playing softball with Brushy Creek Beefmaster and KC's.
One of Pat's favorite things was to have a nickname for the people he knew. Spending time at the deer camp was a joy to him even if he didn't hunt. Pat liked "drinking a cold one" with the coffee club and family after work and on weekends, especially if they did the driving. He never missed a chance to buy a raffle ticket, and he won a lot of raffles, or buy a to-go plate to support any organization.
