Patricia Ann Stroud

Patricia Ann Stroud, passed from this life on January 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Pat, as she was known to everyone, was born in Hallettsville, on April 29, 1944, the youngest of eleven children born to Theofil & Emilie Bujnoch. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T. for over 50 years.

Pat spent her childhood and younger years in Hallettsville, before moving to Houston to work as a bookkeeper for several large oil companies until her retirement. She was able to enjoy many years in retirement pursuing favorite activities such as visiting with lifelong friends and retirement to Hallettsville when she could see family. She was very family oriented and assumed responsibility for the welfare of two of her siblings in their later life. She loved watching favorite movies on the Hallmark channel and enjoyed shopping the QVC channel. She found pleasure in generously gifting many friends and family members with surprises from the Easy Pay Plan over the years. She also kept a long running hope of winning the Lotto, and although she never hit the Big One, she never gave up trying.

Pat is survived by: numerous nieces & nephews; three godchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Bujnoch, wife of Pat’s brother Jerome and Betty Bujnoch, wife of Pat’s brother Stanley.

Memorial Funeral Mass Service: 10:30 am, Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Hallettsville; Visitation starting at 9:30 am with Rosary starting at 10 am. Burial: St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
