Obituary

Pam Bohac Dornak, 41, of Shiner, passed away Nov. 9, 2010. She was born on April 13, 1969 to Willie J. & Florine Beyer Bohac in Houston. She married Randall T. Dornak on July 25, 1998 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Pam loved the outdoors, their animals, camping at the lake with their many friends, and their annual trips to Port Aransas. She always had a beautiful smile, and loved her students and co-workers at Vysehrad I.S.D. She could be seen greeting customers, as she was co-owner of Auto Brite Car Wash in Hallettsville.

Pam fought a very courageous battle with cancer. She fought to the very end, never giving up, and hoping somehow they could find some help for her, so she could go back to her somewhat altered life. But it was not God's will, and somehow her husband and their daughter will find consolation in the fact that it was God's will to help them during this difficult time. Her devoted family was by her side as she breathed her last breath, and for that, we are very grateful as she did not go alone.

Not only will the family members miss Pam's presence every day, but the family cats; Cowboy, Queeni, and Callie; dogs, Rosco, Sara, Lacy, and Mandi; and goldfish, Pumpkin which became a family member on Halloween, a year ago, will miss her also.

Pam was a very grateful lady and always thanked everyone for any little favor or prayer that was offered up for her. Her Famous words were, "I love you and thank you!"

Pam graduated from Bellaire High School. She received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M in 1991. Later she received her Masters in Higher Education from The University of Houston in Victoria. She was an Elementary Teacher at Vysehrad I.S.D.

Pam is survived by: her husband Randall; daughter Tori; her mother Florine Bohac of Hallettsville; parent-in-laws Tommy & Evelyn Dornak of Hallettsville; and sister Jennifer Bohac of Bryan, Texas.

Pam was preceded in death by her father Willie J. Bohac.
