Ora Nell Satsky, 70, of Hallettsville, passed away May 10, 2011. She was born on June 11, 1940 to William A. & Adela Jaroszeski Findeisen in Moulton. She married Dennis Satsky Sr. on Feb. 4, 1961 in Moulton. She was a member of K.J.Z.T. and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

"Granny", as she was known by many, was as a loving mother & grandmother. She loved spending time with her children, and especially grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, and making her special sweet rice and strudel. She enjoyed spending time at Louisiana Casinos. She enjoyed crocheting, as evidence by the many framed crocheted names given to family and friends.

Ora Nell is survived by: her husband Dennis of 50 years; daughter Denise Henke & husband Billy and their children, Shelby, Scott and Megan of Hallettsville; son Dennis Satsky Jr. & wife Karey their son Derik of Victoria; brother Eugene Findeisen of Moulton; 2 sisters, Willis Starkey and Ira Jo Maresh of Moulton.

Ora Nell was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Kubena Funeral Home. Memorial Rosary Service: 6 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Memorials: Sacred Heart Booster Fund or American Cancer Society.
