July 18, 1925 – June 23, 2011
O. C. retired from Alcoa with 31 years of service. He was a member of the 25 year club at Alcoa. He was also a lifelong rancher.
O. C. is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Esther; daughter Connie Castellow of Hallettsville; granddaughters, Cara Castellow of Hallettsville, and Cadee Vanek of Buda; brother-in-law James Howard Brooks; sister-in-law Tonie Brooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
O. C. was preceded in death by: his son Ron Castellow; parents; 6 sisters, Evie Rucker, Lovie Marshall, Ruby Gregory, Ivy Klimitchek, Myrtle Hairell, and Eddie Belle McCord; and 2 brothers, one at infancy and Floyd Castellow.
Funeral Service: 2 pm, Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Sublime Baptist Church of Sublime, Texas. Visitation: 3 pm, Saturday, at Kubena Funeral Home; with family receiving visitors from 5 pm to 7 pm. Officiate: Rev. George Hayhurst. Pallbearers: John Marshall, Everett Marshall, Dan Hairell, Howard Wayne Brooks, Larry Koerth, Leroy Cagle, Danny Russell, and Charlie Meadows. Honorary Pallbearers: James Howard Brooks, Wayne Gregory, Leon Klimitchek, Daniel Vanek, Ross Hrncir, Sabrina Koerth, Lee Koerth, Savana Koerth, and Jack Schultz. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas or Donor's Choice. Burial: Willow Creek Cemetery, Vienna, Texas.
