Mrs. Novella Nell Carlin, 82, of Sheridan, died July 2, 2007. She was born on March 11, 1925 to Henry & Eula Wallace Cornelius in Jacksonville, Texas. She married William H. Carlin on October 14, 1941 at Travis Park Methodist Church in Houston.

Novella is survived by: 2 sons, Al Carlin of Houston, and William H. Carlin Jr. of Amarillo; daughter Deborah Moore of Sheridan; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Novella was preceded in death by: husband William on August 25, 1980; and parents.

Graveside Service: Noon, Friday, July 6, 2007 at Houston National Cemetery. Visitation: Noon, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Burial: Houston National Cemetery. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton. Memorials: Donor's Choice.
