Norman was not only dedicated to attending church, he was also very active in his Hallettsville; Columbus and Brenham congregations with his time, talent and treasure. He taught Sunday School for 27 years and influenced many young lives along the way. Norman served on Church Council and always made himself available for repairing whatever was not working properly at the church. In Columbus he led the choir for over 20 years.
Norman cared deeply for his family. He and his wife Janette transported parents, especially his in-laws to doctor visits when they were in failing health, along with many other members of the family.
