Obituary

Mrs. Norma Lucke Fuller, 95, of Hallettsville, died March 7, 2007. She was born on June 30, 1911 to Edmund & Nellie Schultz Lucke in Mont, Texas, and the 2nd child of 8. She helped the family on the farm, loved to listen and dance to music, gardening, and have her house surrounded with flowers. She was a member of the St Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville, American Legion Auxiliary, and Sunday school secretary for over 20 years at St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Norma is survived by: 2-daughters, Joyce Brisco of Houston and Gaye Nell 'Tuggie' Kalich of Victoria; 3-sisters, Hilda Hellums of Yoakum, Florence Darilek of Shiner, and Lorraine Malick of Bay Town; 7-grandchildren, Bonnie Cupit, Karla Christensen, Kori Ugalde, Ron Brisco, Pat Brisco, Darwin Brisco, and Kevin Kalich; and 11-great-grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by: 1st husband Tom 'Percy' Rees; 2nd husband Lloyd Fuller; brother Erwin Lucke; and 3-sisters, Emilie Schulte, Edna Hanna, and Cecelia Henke.

Service: 11am, Saturday, March 10, 2007 at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Visitation: Noon, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home, with the family receiving visitors between 5 pm to 7 pm. Officiates: Rev. Herb Beyer, and Msgr. Dennis Darilek. Burial: Geiger Cemetery, Sublime, Texas. Pallbearers: Gene Schulte, Kevin Kalich, Kris Cupit, Travis Cupit, Pat Brisco, and J.J. Malick. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of South Texas.
