Obituary

Myrtle L. Hudgeons, 86, of Hallettsville, died Nov. 23, 2008. She was born on July 29, 1922 to William A. & Albina Haveron Pustejovsky in Lavaca County, Texas. She married James L. Hudgeons on April 1, 1944 in Hallettsville. She was a member of Sublime Baptist Church.

Myrtle is survived by: 2 daughters, Barbara Drozd & husband Bill of Hallettsville, and Geraldine Harbin & husband Donald Sr. of Hallettsville; 3 grandsons, Donald Harbin Jr., Jessie Harbin, and David Drozd; and 13 great grandchildren.

Myrtle was preceded in death by: her husband James on Sept. 25, 1995; parents; son at infancy; grandson Nickolos Hale Harbin; 2 great grandchildren, Amber and Matthew Drozd; 4 sisters, Cleo Pustejovsky, Hallie Briscoe, Lillie Mareth, and Bessie Hornsley; and 9 brothers, Leo, Bill, Roy, Harvey, Ed, Orin, Claude, Henry, and Walter Pustejovsky.

Service: 10 am, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers (grandsons & great grandsons): Donald Harbin Jr., David Drozd, Jessie Harbin Jr., Justin Harbin, Eric Harbin, Chris Harbin, Saxton Harbin, and Colt Harbin. Honorary Pallbearers (great granddaughters): Ashley Harbin, Daryl Henson Drozd, Hope Harbin, Collette Harbin, Ashley Warren, Megan Warren, and Candace Warren. Officiate: Daniel Drozd. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas or Pustejovsky Reunion. Burial: Geiger Cemetery, Sublime, Texas.
