Milton E. Koerth, 82, of Hallettsville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. He was born on April 30, 1935 in Muldoon, TX, son of Alfred & Ella Koerth.

Milton attended Hallettsville High School, and retired from San Bernard Electric Co-op in 1997. He enjoyed participating in High School Rodeos and fishing every chance he could. He loved being with family, especially grandchildren & great grandchildren, and his coffee breaks. Most of all, he loved the Lord.

Milton is survived by: his wife Joyce of 54 years; 2 daughters, Gwen Ramirez (Raymond Huskey) of Bellville, TX and Donna Koerth (Robert Edwards) of Hallettsville; son Richard Koerth (Christi Solis) of Bertram, TX; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Martin Haseloff of Port Neches, TX and Alfred Haseloff of San Marcos, TX; 2 sisters-in-law, Leona Bennetsen and Lila Bade (Homer); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Milton was preceded in death by; his parents, uncles & aunts, and sister-in-law Lois Cejka (Henry).

A special "Thank You" to Advanced Home Health, Lavaca Medical Center, Citizens Hospital Staff, Hospice of South Texas; and especially his caregivers, Anna & Igor Kahn.

Memorial Funeral Service (a celebration of life): 2 pm, Saturday, April 7 2018, at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville. Officiant: Pastor Jared Stillion. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): Hospice of South Texas or the donors wishes.
