Obituary

Millie A. Migl Kutac, 100, of Sweet Home, passed away June 7, 2017. She was born on July 25, 1916 to Method & Henrietta Marcak Migl in Shiner, eldest of five children. She married Stanley E. Kutac on October 5, 1937 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Sweet Home. She was a member of S.P.J.S.T. and Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Sweet Home.

Millie is survived by: 2 sons, A.J. Kutac & wife Jo of Hallettsville, and Wilbert Kutac of Yoakum; 5 grandchildren, Elisa Partain & husband Matthew of Inez, Darrell Kutac & wife Donna of Mont, Cherise Branch & husband Steve of Victoria, Keith Kutac & wife Lauren of Hallettsville, and Shera Eichler & husband David of Austin; and 15 great grandchildren.

Millie was preceded in death by: her husband Stanley (October 14, 1997); infant daughter Laverne Kutac (1947); 2 sisters, Agnes Lykins (William) of Dayton, Ohio, and Henrietta Bujnoch (Thomas) of Yoakum; 2 brothers, Albin Migl (Justina) and Matthew Migl (Janie) of Sweet Home; and daughter-in-law Bernice Kutac of Yoakum.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church of Sweet Home. Visitation: 4 pm to 6 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Ashton Kutac, Allyssa Kutac, Dodge Bludau, Reese Bludau, Keith Kutac, Matthew Partain, David Eichler and Steve Branch. Honorary Pallbearers: the Great Grandchildren. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials (in lieu of Flowers): Sacred Heart School of Hallettsville, Nazareth Academy of Victoria, St. Joseph High School of Victoria, or St. Paul High School of Shiner. Burial: Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
