IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mildred Ann
Holy Webb
February 3, 1937 – March 4, 2020
Mildred Ann Holy Webb, 83, of Wylie, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas Texas. She was born on February 3, 1937 to John and Rosie (Galetka) Holy, the youngest of nine Holy children. She graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1955. After being a stay-at-home mother for more than 30 years, in 1990 she began working as a clerk in the Austin Independent School District, retiring in 2009. In 2017, she moved to the Dallas area to be closer to her children.
Mildred, or Millie, as most people called her, loved researching genealogy, exploring her Czech roots, and passing along pieces of family history through her beloved "Holy Family Fun" Facebook page. She loved telling stories of what it was like growing up, helping the younger generations of the family connect past and present. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and her fondest wish was that the Holy Family Reunion continue on for generations to come.
Millie is survived by her three children—Stephanie Park (husband Fred) of Wylie, Texas, Gregory Webb (wife Elizabeth) of Carrollton, Georgia, and Jill Hirsch (husband Wesley) of Allen, Texas; and her five granddaughters—Jamie Francis (husband Kyle) of Smyrna, Georgia, Jessica Kelly (husband Patrick) of Smyrna, Georgia, Shanon Park of Wylie, Texas, Rebekah Hirsch of Allen, Texas and Rachel Hirsch of Allen Texas. She is also survived by two sisters: Victoria Zak of Hallettsville, Texas and Rose Marie Hutzler (husband Tom) of Brownsburg, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Holy of Hallettsville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Rosie Holy, her brothers—Alfred Holy, Leonard Holy, and Ervin Holy, and her sisters—Linda Mikush, Josephine Zaruba, and Elsie Mascheck.
