Michael R. Judd Sr., 58, of Hallettsville, passed away Feb. 26, 2014. He was born on Feb. 19, 1956 to James "Snuffy" & Sophie Vasek Judd in Hallettsville.

Michael's life revolved around his two sons and their families. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding the cows, tending to his rose bushes, and tearing stuff up with the tractor. He spent many evenings watching John Wayne on the western channel. Through the years, he spent many nights coon hunting with his grandpa, dad, and brothers. Throughout the last 8 years, his main hobby was spending time with his grandkids.

Michael is survived by: 2 sons, Ray Judd & wife Tammy of Hallettsville, and Robert Judd & wife Samantha of Port Lavaca; his mother Sophie Judd of Hallettsville; 2 brothers, Randy Judd & wife Arleen of Victoria, and Danny Judd & wife Laurel; and 4 grandchildren, Danielle, Coltyn, McKynzie, and Kody.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Kubena Funeral Home.
Visitation: 4 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Ronnie Orsak, Alan Judd, Larry Koerth, Ronnie McElroy, Karl Brosch, and Chris Laake.
Officiant: Rev. Leo Sharron.
Memorials: Vsetin Cemetery, Vsetin Czech Moravian Brethren Church or Hospice of South Texas.
Burial: Vsetin Cemetery.
