Michael D. Frisina, 80, of Houston, passed away January 13, 2022.  He was born on September 20, 1941, in Meadville, PA and moved to Texas in 1972; was a resident of Hallettsville prior to moving back to Houston.  Michael was a welder with Local 211 for almost 50 years.

Michael is survived by:  his wife Paulette Frisina; daughter Toni Frisina of Houston; 2 stepdaughters, Heather Simpson &husband Neil of Houston, and Meredith Hitchcock & husband William of Oxford Mississippi; 5 grandchildren, Justin Frisina of Katy, Brennan Heth & husband Ryan of Houston, Blaine Borchardt of Houston, Drew Hitchcock Starkville, Mississippi, and Grace Hitchcock of Oxford, Mississippi: brother Dominic Frisina of Meadville, PA: and sister Madeline Vilello of Binghamton, New York.

Funeral Memorial Mass Service: 11 am, Monday, January31, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; with Visitation starting at 10 am and Rosary starting at 10:30 am. Honorary Pallbearers: Justin Frisina, Brennan Heth, Ryan Heth, Blaine Borchardt, Drew Hitchcock, Grace Hitchcock, Neil Simpson and William Hitchcock. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Houston Pets Alive or donor's choice.
