IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Pohl
Brier
December 12, 1949 – September 7, 2024
Michael Pohl Brier, 74, of Hallettsville, TX passed away Saturday, September 7th, 2024. He was born on December 12th, 1949, to John and Janet Brier in San Antonio, TX.
Michael was a kindhearted, charismatic son, brother, father, and grandpa. Out of high school, he enlisted in the USAFR where he served as an aeromedical specialist, studied architectural drafting in his college years, practiced carpentry, and worked the majority of his later years as a machinist.
Throughout his life, Michael bestowed his love of reading and researching history, music appreciation, and fine woodworking to his family. He enjoyed dancing, cooking, fishing, menudo, and watching his children and grandchildren grow. He helped with homework, school projects and was always there to confide in with the hard questions. He invoked in others a passion for art through his drawings and paintings. He had a passion for playing guitar and spent hours listening to his children learn. He never met a stranger, as he always had a smile for anyone crossing his path. He loved his family whole-heartedly and taught them (most importantly), how to truly, fearlessly, and unconditionally love.
Michael is preceded in passing by his mother Janet Pohl Brier, father John Matthew Brier and brother Tony Brier.
He is survived by; Joyce Brier, sons Camden and Trevor Brier and grandsons Dean and Silas Brier.
