IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Matthew David
Freeman
June 24, 1995 – March 2, 2016
Matthew David Freeman, 20, of Santa Fe, TX, passed away March 2, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1995 to David and Donna Freeman in Webster, TX. Matthew was in his junior year at Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX, where he was studying Agribusiness.
Matthew touched many hearts in his short 20 years. He had an independent spirit, a kind and gentle manner and greeted everyone with bright blue eyes and a big smile. He had a passion for animals, ranching, his trucks and anything country. He loved his groups of friends – those back home in Santa Fe and those in San Angelo. He also had a passion for Hallettsville, TX. Growing up, Matthew spent every summer there, in "the country", with his Mema and Pops and almost every weekend there with his parents. His love for cattle and ranching flourished there and led him to pursue an education in Agribusiness. Matthew had big plans and big dreams for himself.
For his parents, Matthew was their blessed gift from God and the one true joy in their life. He will be missed dearly and celebrated by them each and every day.
Matthew is survived by: his parents David and Donna; 2 grandmothers, Grace Daley of Sante Fe, and Annette McCrumb of Hallettsville; Aunts and Uncles, Arthur & Sonia Freeman, Sharon Rehm, Bobby and Rai Ann Knape, Blake & Debbie McCrumb, Susan & Kirk Chandler, Edward Jr. & Debi McCrumb, and Tammy Sieling; numerous loving cousins, his cherished girlfriend Brooklynn Halfmann and his blue heeler dog, Tuff.
