Mary Emily Siecko, 88, of Sugar Land, formerly of Edna, died October 22, 2008. She was born on January 24, 1920 to John & Frances Matusek Woytek in Hallettsville. She married Johnnie A. Siecko on June 11, 1941 in Sublime. She was a member of Bridge Fellowship (First Baptist) Church of Sugar Land.

Mary is survived by: 4 sons, Glen D. Siecko of Beaumont, Gary W. Siecko of Edna, Melvin J. Siecko & wife Robbie of Edna, and Lynn A. Siecko & wife Donna of Tomball; 2 daughters, Patsy Lewis of Sugar Land, and Barbara James & husband John of Houston; sister Edna Haas of Hallettsville; 3 sisters-in-law, Jo Lemke of Sugar Land, Oretha Pennock of San Antonio, and Rose Fitch of Edna; brother-in-law Fred Siecko of Yoakum; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by: husband Johnnie on March 2, 1987; parents; son-in-law Roy Lewis; 6 brothers, Edward, Joe, Victor, Rudolph, John, and Pete Woytek; and 3 sisters, Agnes Brown, Frances Brown, and Dolphie Pavlu.

Service: 10 am, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 6 pm, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton. Pallbearers: Chris Siecko, Mark Lewis, Jason Siecko, Shane Siecko, Brandon Morales, and Bryce Siecko. Honorary Pallbearers: Shaye Morales, Amy Siecko, and Jordyn Siecko. Burial: Geiger Cemetery in Sublime.
