Mary Mozisek Kutach, 93, of Hallettsville, passed away Nov. 22, 2009. She was born on April 15, 1916 to Joseph & Apolena Sykora Mozisek in Lavaca County, Texas. She married Jim H. Kutach on Nov. 23, 1937 at Koerth Catholic Church. She was a member of KJZT, SPJST, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Mary is survived by: 2 sons, James Kutach & wife Vernell of Yoakum, and Eugene Kutach of Victoria; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by: her husband Jim; parents; 5 brothers, Felix, Victor, Leon, Otto, and Joe Mozisek; and 5 sisters, Pauline Janca, Louise Castecka, Albina Huehlefeld, Otelia Smolik, and Emilie Mozisek.

Funeral Mass: 10 am, Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation: 2 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Michael Rother. Pallbearers: Clifford Mugrauer, Mike Kutach, Brad Bruce, John Giam, Don Rainosek, and Kyle Levis. Burial: Sweet Home Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Donor's Choice.
