Mary Ann Koenig, 62, of Onalaska, Texas, passed away Jan. 13, 2011. She was born on Sept. 25, 1948 to Paul M. & Sarah Schaefer Jansky in Hallettsville. She married Charles L. Koenig on June 1, 1968, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Mary is survived by: her husband Charles; 2 daughters, Cynthia Ann Corley & husband Rhon of Tomball, and Sheila R. Emberton & husband Tim of Houston; her mother Sarah Jansky of Hallettsville; 2 sisters, Sharon Jansky of Smithville, and Olinda Lindsey of San Marcos; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Paul Jansky.

Funeral Mass Service: 2 pm, Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 12 noon, Monday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rosary: 1:30 pm, Monday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiate: Rev. Tommy Chen. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
