She was born in Hallettsville on October 10, 1969, to Martin and Mary Partida DeLaRosa. She married Leonard Houston on April 15, 2002. Martha graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1989. She went to work out of high school as a CNA at Steven convalescent and later at Shady Oaks nursing home in Moulton. Then she took care of infants and was a toddler teacher at Solid Rock Daycare for more than 10 years. Martha always enjoyed seeing her former daycare kids all grown up. She enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephew, and when they got older watching them play sports. Martha loved football and watching her Brahmas, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns play, especially when Jonathan Brooks made the Longhorns team. Martha enjoyed her road trips, going to the beach and trips to Tennessee to see her brother Ed. Martha's favorite past time was keeping up with her friends thru Facebook, calls or texts.
