Martha Louise Bell, 84, of Ezzell, passed away Jan. 9, 2012. She was born on April 6, 1927 in Whitehouse, TN. She married Clyde E. Bell on Dec. 1, 1951 in Springfield, TN. She enjoyed Bingo, dancing, gardening and wahoo. She was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and Church of Christ in Ezzell.

Martha is survived by: her husband Clyde; brother Richard Choate; sister Edna Darby; 2 sister-in-laws, Helen Erickson & daughter Rachel, and Marie Anderson; numerous nieces & nephews, including Wanda Sue Wright, Patsy Makovy, Ruth Perry, Buna Schaible, Wallace Bell, and James Ventress; and special friends, Robert Erickson & Vivian McCord.

Martha was preceded in death by: her parents, 4 sisters, and 1 brother.

Funeral Service: 2 pm, Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Kubena Funeral Home of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Mike Ezzell. Pallbearers: Wallace Bell, Daryl Chapman, Mike Makovy, Joe Herman, Anthony Henneke, Clinton Henneke, and James Ventress. Honorary Pallbearer: John Wright. Memorials: L.AM.B. (Lavaca Assistance Ministry Body). Burial: Salem Cemetery.
