Obituary

Marjorie Bock Miller, 87, of Hallettsville, died Sept. 1, 2008. She was born on July 15, 1921 to Charles O. & Agnes Frazier Bock in Oakland, Texas. She married Russell A. Miller on March 16, 1946 in Houston.

Marjorie was a PTA president, member of First United Methodist Church, State Championship High School Rodeo Director, member of Hallettsville High School Band Booster Club, member of Texas Independent Cattleman's Association, and Sunday School Teacher for First United Methodist Church.

Marjorie is survived by: 2 daughters, Rusty Lynn Cook & husband Paul David of Hallettsville, and Ann C. Miller & husband James F. Fenner of Hallettsville; brother Charles Bock of Hallettsville; 3 grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Hill, Paige Miller Schiro, and Ashley Lynn Kocian; and 2 great grand children, Jack Miller Schiro and Abigil Cook Hill.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Russell on May 13, 1988 and parents.

Service: 10 am, Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 1 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Lundy Hooten. Family will be receiving visitor from 5pm to 7pm Tuesday. Pallbearers: Kenneth Tones, Tommy Miller, Andrew Schiro, Shawn Hill, Jason Appelt, and Justin Rother. Memorials: Hallettsville High School Library. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
