Marilyn Ann Patlovany, 70, of Hallettsville, passed away June 14, 2020.  She was born on August 14, 1949 in Dew, TX.  She married Sylvester James Patlovany on December 12, 1970 in Houston, TX.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville.

Marilyn, Meemaw as we know her, had a way of making everyone calm. She was ready to greet anyone with the limitless love. I love that only comes to those with the heart filled with God's love. Meemaw was a wonderful mom, Grandma, friend, and person. You will always be our light in the dark. We love you!

Marilyn is survived by:  her husband Sylvester James; 2 sons, James Patlovany & wife Meghan, and John Patlovany & wife Ashley; daughter Kristi Kostelnik & husband Brian; brother Herbert Smith; and 12 grandchildren, Trenton, Presley, Emma, Taylor, Thomas, Katherine, Christopher, William, Samuel, Madison, Alice, & Benjamin .

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Dee & Dorothy Smith.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Friday June 19, 2020, at First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Rev. Melanie Monroe. Memorials: First United Methodist Church of Hallettsville or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Hallettsville.
