Marilyn Y. Freeman, 64, of Hallettsville, passed away Oct. 22, 2012. She was born on April 30, 1948 to W. F. & Leila Williams Ballinger in Houston.

Marilyn is survived by: 2 sons, Michael and Matthew Freeman; daughter Melanie Janssen & husband Tracey; brother Kenneth Ballinger & wife Vicki; sister Jewell Kelsey & husband Edmon; and 2 grandchildren Aidan and Audrie Freeman.

Marilyn was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter Melissa Freeman; and sister Janelle Surratt.

Graveside Service: 11 am, Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Willow Creek Cemetery near Vienna, Texas. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton.
