Maribel was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas, K.J.Z.T., and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville.
Maribel is survived by: son Patrick Polasek of Katy, Texas; daughter Carolyn Kolle & husband Garland of Victoria; 2 sisters, Virginia Mae Petter of El Campo, Texas, and Doris Ann Usener of Fredericksburg, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Dennis Kolle, Lori Innocenti, Lani Polasek, Casey Polasek, and Dustin Polasek; and 2 great-grandchild, Hannah Kolle and Cullen Kolle.
Maribel was preceded in death by; husband Frank (died February 21, 1991), parents Julius George & Mary Ann Pustejovsky Jalufka, brother Lawrence A. Jalufka, and sister Luella Hradecky.
Service: 2 pm, Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: Noon, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries : 7 pm, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home, and 1:30 pm, Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Memorials: Stevens Nursing Center, Hospice of South Texas, or Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Casey Polasek, Dusty Polasek, Danny Innocenti, Dennis Kolle, Douglas Petter, and Dale Mikulenka.
