Margaret Theresa Obelgoner, 73, of Hallettsville, passed away April 18, 2021.  She was born on March 14, 1948, to Vernon H. & Audrey Lankart Obelgoner Sr., in San Antonio.  She spent her childhood in Hallettsville, but lived most of her life in Dallas, where she worked and enjoyed a simple and quiet life.  She worked at various secretarial jobs until she retired, but she loved theater, art, and a good book.

Margaret is survived by:  brother Robert Obelgoner & wife Pattie; niece Jennifer Simpson & husband Kris & her family; 2 nephews and their families, James & Barbara Obelgoner and Jason & Stephanie Obelgoner.

Margaret was preceded in death by; parents, and brother Vernon Obelgoner Jr.

Margaret was loved by her family and will be missed.

Graveside Service: 2 pm, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Mikeska Family Cemetery (1362 CR 204, Hallettsville). Memorials (in lieu of flowers): donor's choice.
